STEM For Kids Announces The First International Game Making Competition

Our STEM For Kids Computer Game Making Lab is making great contributions in the field of education enrichment by enabling children (in elementary, middle and high schools) to learn coding and to design / create their very own computer games. Now, we are pleased to announce our first-ever International Game-Making Challenge!
We welcome participants at STEM For Kids locations around the world to design an original computer game using the Kodu Game Making platform. The kids can build their game on a scientific, mathematics or programming theme per their interests. Students can enter the competition in groups of 3 or individually.
Parents, this competition is a great platform for your children to not only show what they have learned, but also to put their skills to the ultimate test. Students’ games and their “sales” pitch will be rated for efficiency and game making techniques utilized. The winner will be announced on September 27, 2019 and will receive global recognition throughout the STEM For Kids network.
