Computer Science and Engineering for Elementary Ages

Raleigh, NC, 12/1/2012 – STEM For Kids announces the launch of premier computer science and engineering camps for elementary age children. With a line-up of 5 new innovative programs starting this December, STEM For Kids is taking innovation in STEM enrichment for elementary kids to yet another level.

Children experience the wonders of computer science every time they play games, watch videos or read books on a computer, mobile phone or tablet. These 5 new programs provide an inside look on computers and how they work:

1. A Taste of Computer Science

2. Computers and Critical Thinking

3. Computers and Communications

4. Robotics

5. Electrical Engineering

Computers are entrenched into our lives today and will continue to be so into the future. “Using our innovative approach of bringing complex engineering concepts to kids in a fun way, our new programs use computers to stretch kids’ thinking while reinforcing the 3Cs – Critical Thinking, Communications and Collaboration”, said Moni Singh, Founder and CEO of STEM for Kids LLC.

The new programs along with STEM For Kids’ Classic Camp Offerings (Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace and Environmental Engineering) are open for registrations at STEM For Kids Registrations Web Page.
